The food shopping for the passage is finished. It’s not all put away yet, but it is getting close. Tom and Steve have been exploring Honolulu. Almost everything is done. Tomorrow the diver is coming by to clean the propeller and bottom of the boat. After that it is just taking on a full load of water and fuel and storing everything in its proper place for offshore and we’ll be good to go.
Today’s local weather is very gusty winds. Running from 10 up to close to 30 knots. And that is with the bulk of the island between us and the wind! Would not be a good day to start!
We will be underway Friday if the ocean wind patterns make sense to go.
Have a rocking good, smooth sail!!!
